Our Rocking Horse was never this Majestic


Ours was wooden, with a mane made of sheep skin. Many hours rocking in the passage way at home.

How well I remember Sunday afternoons, rushing to get the trolley for Dad - so he could unload his trailer of veges bound by rail to the markets. This is now located at Nigel Ogle's Tawhiti Museum, Hawera.
